The Cotswold Camino
Let's adventure together in a place you've never been that you'll never forget.
Ten days. Eleven nights. Ten people. 100 miles walking across the heart of England.
Autumn 2027.
I've led seven walks on the Camino de Santiago and seen life-changing things.
I've watched people get sober, and others start a business they'd been dreaming about for a decade. I saw the moment a woman decided to leave a 20-year marriage. I've seen people realize they want to start a family. I've watched strangers become family and a dozen people get tattoos afterward to remind themselves of what happened.
I've seen the messy stuff, too. Breakdowns. People screaming at trees and cursing the clouds. The kind of honest rage and grief that only comes when you're tired enough and real enough that you finally stop hiding from who you are.
And somewhere in all of it, people figure out what life is actually about.
That's what these long walks do. They crack you open.
I want to do it again.
But this time in England.
WHY AM I DOING THIS?
I spend most of my life talking about kindness and vulnerability and what it means to show up for each other. But talking about it is easy. Living it — sweating through it, being sore together, laughing at 7 am while your calves scream profanities, sitting with someone's tears at dinner — that's where the real work happens.
Walking teaches you things words can't. You can't doomscroll on a footpath in the middle of nowhere. You can't perform or keep your mask on. There is no distraction from presence. You just walk. And talk. And become real with people.
MAKE NO MISTAKE:
This is a big deal.
You might cry. You might curse my name. You probably won't sleep perfectly. You'll likely be sore, and you may get blisters. There's no guarantee of great weather or clean clothes. You'll be uncomfortable, often feeling pride, pain, bliss, gratitude, and everything in between. But at the end of this wild, once-in-a-lifetime walk, I promise you'll see yourself in a new light.
Sounds fun, right?
WHAT’S IT LIKE?
DON’T JUST TAKE MY WORD FOR IT
Here's what people who've walked with me have said:
“If you're into a life-changing, mind-boggling, heart-exploding adventure-of-a-lifetime, look no further.”
“Had I known what I was signing up for, I probably wouldn't have done it. But I'm really glad I did.”
“The connection, expansion, and challenge is next level and indescribable.”
“There were hard days, but always totally worth it.”
“If you're hesitating, don't. You'll develop connections with other humans you never knew were possible, and find out things about yourself that smash the old stories to smithereens.”
WHERE WE’RE WALKING
We start in Chipping Campden — one of the most beautiful villages in England. Honey-coloured stone, narrow streets, the feeling of stepping back in time. We finish in Bath, the Roman spa city, where you can sink into the thermal waters after ten days on your feet and feel human again.
In between, we’ll walk the Cotswold Way — one of England's National Trails. Rolling green hills, ancient footpaths, quiet villages, old pubs, and big skies. The pace is relaxed. We're not racing. Just moving forward, one step at a time.

A group Zoom call before we go, so you can meet the others and ask questions

HOW DOES THIS WORK?
Silent mornings. We start most days with a stretch of silence before we walk. No talking, no phones — just you, your breath, the path, and whatever's stirring. It sounds simple. It's not. Some of the most important insights happen in silence.
Daily writing prompts. Each day I'll give you something to chew on — a question, a prompt, a provocation to carry with you as you walk. You don't have to share it. But you'll be surprised what comes up when you've got miles to stroll and a good question to keep you company.
Daily check-ins. We gather as a group to land each day — to share what came up, what's hard, what's shifting. This is where strangers become something more. It's not therapy, and it's not forced. It's just honest people being real with each other, which turns out to be rarer and more powerful than most of us realize.
One-on-one conversations with me, throughout. I'm a coach with 10 years of experience, and I'll be available the entire trip for the kind of conversations that change things. Walk beside me for a few miles. Catch me at dinner. Whatever you're working through, I'm here for it and can handle it.
The walk is just the container. The real journey is what happens inside it. That's the work. That's the magic.
That's why people get the tattoo.
PLEASE NOTE:
This isn't a tour. Nobody's pointing out architecture or sharing monologues about British History. There's no checklist of attractions you must see. You don't need hiking experience. You don't need to be crazy fit.
You need to be willing to walk a few hours a day, sit with some discomfort, and let people matter to you.
If that sounds a little terrifying — good. Growth lives on the other side of scary.
IS THIS FOR YOU?
If you've found your way here — through the podcast, the Substack, Instagram, or just because something I said once landed — you probably already know my vibe. You know I'm serious about kindness. You know vulnerability isn't weakness. You know the real stuff happens when you're willing to be seen.
This is for anyone hungry for depth in a world that mostly offers surface. For anyone tired of interactions that never get past small talk. For anyone who's ever thought there has to be more than this — and meant it.
(And to be clear: if you're over 18, you're welcome. All earthlings.)
WHO IS IN CHARGE?
Hi. I'm Dr. Jeremy Goldberg — a recovering scientist turned life coach, podcast host, TEDx speaker, and spoken word poet who speaks fluent burrito. I spent over a decade working for governments and universities, and five years studying how our brains shape our actions. I wrote a PhD thesis about it and founded Long Distance Love Bombs to make kindness cool and compassion commonplace. I've now led seven Camino walks — and this is the eighth chapter, on a new trail.
I'd love to walk it with you.
WHAT ARE THE DETAILS?
When: [AUTUMN 2027 — exact dates TBD]
Cost: [£PRICE per person] — includes everything listed above: 11 nights' accommodation, breakfast daily, luggage transfers, route notes and app, the pre-trip and post-trip Zoom calls, and one-on-one coaching with me along the way. Payment plans available.
Group size: Nine people, maximum, including me. That's it. Small enough that everyone matters and you can genuinely connect with them, but big enough that something real can happen.
A NOTE ON ROOMS
Real talk: if you'd like your own room rather than sharing, there's an additional cost — roughly £80–100 per night, which adds up to somewhere around £900–1,100 over the trip. I'm not burying that in fine print. Some people want their own space; some want to share. Both are completely fine. I just want you to know the math going in, so there are no surprises.

We walk the Cotswold Way over ten days, from Chipping Campden to Bath — roughly 102 miles total. We stay in six different villages along the way, with relaxed days ranging from about 7 to 13 miles. Your bags travel ahead of you each day. Exact day-by-day plan shared on booking.

If you commit and prepare, you can absolutely do it. The days are moderate — some rolling hills, some gentle stretches, nothing technical or dangerous. On my Camino walks, I've had people of all ages do it, including folks in their 60s. The best prep is simple: get some steps in, break in your shoes, slowly build up your stamina and strength over the months before we go. Baby steps. Don't rush or overdo it.

Fly into the UK (London is easiest — Heathrow or Gatwick), then it's a straightforward train and transfer to Chipping Campden to start. We finish in Bath, which connects easily by rail to London and its airports. I'll share detailed travel guidance once you're booked.
-
Most travelers — including from the US, Canada, Australia, and the EU — don't need a visa for a trip this length, but many nationalities now need to apply online for a UK Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) before arriving. I'll point you to the official details. Make sure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond travel.

Quintessential England — rolling green hills, ancient woodland, dry-stone walls, sheep fields, escarpment views, and golden-stone villages that look untouched by time. We start in storybook Cotswold country and finish in Georgian Bath. People consistently say it's more beautiful than they imagined.

The essentials and not much more — your bag moves with us, but you'll want to pack smart. Broken-in waterproof boots, layers, a rain jacket (this is England), and comfortable evening clothes. I'll send a full packing guide before we go.
-
Ask yourself: is that nerves and fear you're feeling, or is it excitement and aliveness? Usually it's an invitation in disguise. There's nothing else quite like this — and if you're still unsure, message me. I'm happy to talk it through.
AN IMPORTANT NOTE BEFORE BOOKING
Because this trip takes significant planning and upfront investment, full refunds aren't available. A deposit reserves your spot and is non-refundable. Final balance is due six weeks before departure. Once paid, the balance is non-refundable as well — so please only commit if you're serious, and I strongly recommend purchasing trip cancellation insurance to protect yourself against the unexpected.
[Confirm exact deposit £ figure with Adam, and decide whether you want a partial-refund window like your Camino's Feb 15 date.]
